Third Cave Camp Kilimanjaro is a high-altitude campsite located on the Rongai Route at approximately 3,900 meters on the northern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. It serves as an optional overnight stop between Second Cave and Kibo Camp, allowing climbers to gain altitude gradually and improve acclimatization before the summit stage.
The camp is set in an alpine desert environment with rocky terrain, sparse vegetation, and wide open views across the northern side of the mountain. Its remote location provides a quieter trekking experience compared to more crowded routes. Third Cave Camp Kilimanjaro is an important staging point for climbers aiming for a steady and well-paced ascent.
