The Whisper Tarangire is a tented camp set inside Tarangire National Park, near Kuro Ranger Post and roughly 15 minutes from Kuro Airstrip and Silale Swamp. Described as a Swiss-Tanzanian tented camp, it opened with six large tents, with plans to expand to ten by 2026. Each tent measures 5m x 7.5m and is built on a raised wooden platform with a polished wooden floor, including one tent designed to be accessible for guests with reduced mobility.
Inside, tents open onto a private deck (5m x 2.5m) through a wooden sliding door, with views over the surrounding Tarangire hills. Guests have running hot water for private en-suite showers and a reliable electrical supply with charging points, and sleeping arrangements can be adjusted to suit solo travellers, couples, or groups of up to four.
