The Loop Beach Resort is an adults-only property in the heart of Jambiani village, on Zanzibar’s east coast, directly on a stretch of white coral sand that runs for kilometres in both directions. The resort was designed by Italian designer Sandro Gurioli in a style drawing on Stone Town’s Arabian architecture, built using natural lime and wood with recycled materials and artwork from young Tanzanian artists. Accommodation totals 18 rooms across four categories Standard, Superior, Suite with Sea View, and upgraded Deluxe and Premium Suites with outdoor verandas, free Wi-Fi, a safety deposit box, king-size beds with mosquito nets, and a ceiling fan in every room.
Guests can use the on-site Water Sports Center for kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing lessons, kayaking, and snorkelling on the nearby coral reef, taking advantage of both low and high tide conditions. The resort’s restaurant serves African, Italian, and Mediterranean dishes, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available, alongside an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, a lounge bar, room service, a tour desk, and currency exchange.
